Mobfest 2010 The Day After!!!
Once again this is Roberta Phelps (Lew Jones’ personal secretary) typing for Lew since his hands were destroyed during the concert last night. Lew Jones would like to thank everyone for showing up for the Mob Fest show at Elbo Room. He says that the place was packed and for that he is grateful. He also says that it was a good thing that you showed up, because he is taking trips today to people’s homes to put cigarettes out on them. He says that it was a “great performance” and that he hopes you had a “good time” and that he was “really really nervous” that you wouldn’t enjoy yourself. Now Lew is laughing and saying that he was being facetious with his last comment because he “knows” you enjoyed last nights show. He also knows what you’re thinking and that is no joke, because Lew Jones can read minds.
Lew would like you to know that the song Sex on Sunday that was debuted last night was a “certifiable hit”, and that the crowd went wild. Needless to say I too was there and really enjoyed the show as well. Now Lew is throwing a shoe at me which I dodged because he says “no one” cares about my “opinions”. Lew would like me to finish up by saying there will be a link to a video soon for the Fret 12 interview that he and Stefan did yesterday before the show. Wow, Lew and Stefan, where did you guys learn to write so well!? Lew, just a hint from two people who kind of like Stefan a lot and know him pretty well – when he gets all worked up in a detailed prognostication about music theory that three other people in this world, (one being his father), might understand – well you have to bring him back to earth. One particularly effective method is to smack him upside the head, or just give him a hug. He loves hugs. Brings him right back to land of mortal men. Seriously, you guys write really well, and it comes through loud and clear that you love what you do, and you like each other. Stefan – Roberta Phelps??? I can just see your fingers flying over the stings – we wish so much we could have been there.
