Recording

Well, we are a day away from something we have been looking forward to for a long time….the studio.  We have some great songs ready to go and are eagerly looking forward to working with producer Manny Sanchez at IV Labs.  I can’t wait to see(well hear i guess) what we can do to these tunes with him.  The songs are there waiting to be produced, and I have no doubt Manny is going to bring out the best in the songs; that’s what producers do.  I was telling a story to the guys the other day about demo recordings I heard done by Tool for the Undertow album.  I’m not completely sure when and how it was recorded, but it was done on their own much like most bands(including ourselves) have done to get something out to their fans or for a producer to hear.  To hear these tracks before a producer got his hands on them is remarkable.  Tool is one of the greatest bands around and to hear these tracks with no production makes them sound like a local band, which they essentially were at the time. Try and find them if you can, very cool stuff.  It’s with that in mind that I am curious to see what our songs become and how they end up sounding.  We will all find out shortly, stay tuned……
