The Lowly Bassist

Hi everybody. My name is Josh and I play the bass for Riot Inside. I know what you’re thinking… “You play the bass. Just be glad you have a damn job.” Well that may be true and I may be a lowly bass player with a very ugly face, but I have feelings too (though they don’t matter because of my ugliness). At one point and time I wanted to be a clown in the circus (to cover the ugliness that is my face) and stand in between lions and tigers (whom I look just like). But now here I am in a successful band standing between the two “Gods of Guitar”. Dammit this is not how I planned my life. How can I be as successful as Stefan and Lew. They are both so great and I am so small, my 5’3” height just doesn’t allow me the same impact as the great guitar gods Stefan and Lew. Oh woe is me, woe is me!!!  Maybe someday as impossible as it may seem I will be able to raise my ugly ugly face to the world and proclaim my godliness too. But I am a mere ugly baby and I will continue to be so because I am ugly and there is no mercy in the world for someone as ugly as me.
